CNC Machinist

In this critical role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating state-of-the-art CNC machines to create, modify, and repair precision parts and components. Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operation of a variety of manual machines, including Bridgeport mills and Harding lathes
• Operate and set up CNC equipment, including vertical and horizontal mills, and CNC lathe (turning) machines
• Work with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, cast iron, and titanium
• Perform precision part fabrication and rebuilding, with the ability to maintain tight tolerances, such as +/- .005 to .0005
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and G&M codes
• Conduct in-process quality inspection using precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Perform machine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Expertise in manual lathe and milling operations.
• Experience with a variety of CNC machines, which may include brands like HAAS, Mazak, and Mori Seiki
