Full-Time Housekeeper — Manhattan Private Residence (Chelsea)

Salary: $75,000–$95,000/year, depending on experience

Benefits: Full-time employee benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k with no employer match

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility when needed on some weekends.

A private Manhattan (Chelsea) residence is seeking a reliable, experienced, and long-term-minded Housekeeper to join a staffed household. The residence is 4,500 square feet.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and understands the importance of discretion and professionalism in a private home. Experience working in a luxury environment is not required , but familiarity with high-end households is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily housekeeping and maintaining the residence to a high standard
• Laundry and proper care of clothing and linens
• Organizing closets, drawers, and household areas
• Keeping the home orderly and well-presented
• Working collaboratively with other household staff
• Adapting to changes in household needs and responsibilities
• Assisting with special events or parties when needed

The household is looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, proactive, and interested in staying in the position long-term . The scope of responsibilities may evolve over time, so the ability to adapt and take initiative is important.

Occasional weekend work may be requested when there is a party, special event, or other household need. Advance notice will generally be provided.
