The Role:
We’re looking for a Mechanical Electrician/Machine Builder to join our team and bring our custom automation machinery to life.

This isn’t residential or commercial electrical work - it’s hands-on, industrial machine building. You’ll wire machinery, build control panels, read electrical prints, and ensure each system performs flawlessly.

What You’ll Do:

• Wire and assemble industrial machinery and electrical panels from schematics and blueprints
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, BOMs, and routing sheets
• Install and connect motors, sensors, controls, and other electrical components
• Route, cut, and terminate wiring; perform continuity and functionality tests
• Use hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, and electrical testing equipment
• Troubleshoot, test, and fine-tune machines for optimal performance
• Make minor PLC program adjustments (Allen Bradley)
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy and quality

What You Bring:

• Two-year technical degree in Electronic/Electrical Technologies or equivalent training
• 4+ years of experience in a production or electrical department
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical specifications
• Working knowledge of volt/ohmmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes, and test bench instruments
• Familiarity with PLC-based programs and functional computer skills

· Experience with 24vdc to 480vac three-phase system, in conjunction with components like servo drives and VFDs.

• Strong start-up and troubleshooting skills across multiple product lines
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and find permanent solutions to ongoing issues

Additional Requirements:

• Valid NYS driver’s license
• Ability to work overtime and travel out of town for service trips
• Comfortable performing physically active work including frequent lifting, climbing, standing, crouching, bending, and kneeling
