Solar Construction Lead - Site Execution & Crew Coordination

Position Overview
We are seeking a Solar Construction Lead to support a utility-scale solar project in New York State.
This role combines hands-on field experience with team coordination responsibilities, ideal for professionals who have grown from technical roles and can now lead crews, manage execution, and ensure project delivery on site.
The selected candidate will act as a key link between field teams and construction management, ensuring that daily activities are executed according to planning, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise civil, mechanical, and electrical crews on site.
- Plan and organize daily construction activities, aligning with project schedules.
- Ensure execution complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Track progress, productivity, and workforce performance.
- Prepare daily reports, work logs, and production tracking.
- Support the Construction Manager in planning and execution strategy.
- Act as the main point of coordination between field crews and project management.
- Identify deviations and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and site safety protocols.
- Support resource allocation, materials tracking, and tool management.
- Resolve on-site issues and provide practical, field-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction roles within:
- Civil works (earthworks, infrastructure, roads)
- Industrial or energy projects (solar preferred)
- Proven experience in crew supervision and field coordination.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site execution.
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience with planning tools (MS Project and/or Primavera P6) is a plus.
- Advanced use of MS Office 365.
- Fluent English and Spanish (C1 required).
- Availability to work on-site in the United States.

- Previous experience supporting construction management roles.
