Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is an established and growing environmental remediation company seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in waste disposal, DOT compliance, and supervisory roles, with a strong commitment to safety, regulatory excellence, and operational efficiency.

For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. Compensation will be based on experience, license and other factors permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day field and facility operations related to environmental remediation and hazardous/non-hazardous waste management.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, NYSDEC, EPA, OSHA, and other applicable standards.
Supervise, train, and support field staff and drivers to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
Coordinate transportation and disposal logistics for various types of waste streams.
Implement and improve operational policies and procedures to maximize performance and minimize risk.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Maintain accurate records, including manifests, inspection logs, and incident reports.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in environmental remediation, waste disposal, or related industry.
In-depth knowledge of DOT compliance and transport regulations.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Valid drivers license; CDL and HAZWOPER certifications are a plus.
Experience with scheduling, routing, and job costing preferred.
