Seasonal Financial Services Operations Associate

This is a full-time, seasonal opportunity OR part-time eligible for current college students who can work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM) at the designated Farm Credit East office.
As a member of the Farm Advisory Services team, the seasonal operations associate works as part of a team dedicated to improving our customers’ experience and to assist the tax team in providing a timely and accurate tax return. A basic understanding of accounting principles is desired, as are excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. This position works closely with our tax and accounting staff, consultants, and other business units to develop a strong understanding of Farm Credit East's products, procedures, and services to provide valuable support to all team members. Those successful in this role possess a proactive mindset along with a willingness to cultivate both internal and external relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
- Adheres to Farm Credit East internal policies and procedures surrounding time and billing practices, electronic data storage, communicatino protocols and document storage
- Maintains proper documentation and communication with members and staff to respond to internal and external customer needs
Support and Processing
- Provide superior customer service in all customer interactions. Provide assistance and support whenever possible to financial service customers and team members or direct the customers to the proper service provider within the company.
- Duties include customer care, scanning, information management, document packaging and delivery, and electronic filing of returns.
- Preparation of return documents such as 1099’s, tax credit forms, and payroll filings.
- Maintains proper documentation and communication with members and staff to respond to internal and external customer needs.
Customer Centricity
- Follows up on customer (both internal and external) communication within 24 hours
- Actively manages Agworx dashboards, and CCH workstream as applicable to your role
- When applicable, documents all customer contacts in AgWorx with comments intended to benefit all team members serving the customer
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- This position is primarily conducted out of a physical Farm Credit East office location in order to effectively serve local customers.
- Pay rate: $22 - $26 /Hr., commensurate with experience
