The BRIDGES Program at SUNY Orange is seeking a part-time Instructor for the 2023-2024 Academic Year for their Pathway to Independence. this job offer will be located on the Newburgh campus.
BRIDGES now offers three distinct pathways to provide students with the learning environment that is designed to meet their individual goals. Working as part of our team, the Instructor facilitates BRIDGES workshops for young adults with diverse learning styles. The Pathway to Independence, on the Newburgh campus, offers students a hands-on learning practice that is designed to teach them the essential expertise for increased independence. The mission of this program is to promote a person-centered practice that aligns to the individual's goals.

this job offer requires availcapability between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and reliable transportation.
General Requirements:
Education Required: Associate's degree.
practice Required: practice working with students of diverse abilities. Demonstrated capability to tailor facilitation style and interactions with students to provide individualized instruction that meet students individual goals.
Preferred expertise, expertise, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
»Bachelor's degree in Education, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Sociology, Speech Language Pathology or related fields.
»Familiarity with meeting rigorous post-secondary curriculum geared towards acquiring diverse adult life expertise.
