NYC Metro Area
Growing environmental consulting firm is seeking to hire 2 Environmental Project Managers to support remediation and environmental investigation projects throughout NYC and the surrounding boroughs. We are hiring for:
- Senior Environmental Project Manager – 10+ years of experience
- Environmental Project Manager – 5+ years of experience
Candidates should have experience managing environmental remediation projects, site investigations, regulatory compliance, and client coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental remediation and investigation projects from proposal through closeout
- Oversee field activities including soil borings, groundwater sampling, remediation systems, and subcontractors
- Prepare technical reports, work plans, cost estimates, and proposals
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies including NYSDEC and NYC OER
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience for Project Manager opening
- 10+ years of experience for Senior Project Manager opening
- Strong knowledge of environmental remediation and site investigation practices
- Experience with NYSDEC regulations, Brownfield programs, and remedial action oversight preferred
- OSHA 40-hour certification preferred
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- US citizen or green card a must.
