GTM Insurance Agency LLC, an affiliate of GTM Payroll & HR, is seeking an experienced and client-focused Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team. This is your opportunity to manage a dedicated book of business, make a real impact on client success, and be part of a collaborative and values-driven agency.About the RoleAs a Benefits Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our group benefits clients. You'll take the lead in managing day-to-day service needs, coordinating renewals, and ensuring clients receive timely, compliant, and high-quality support across their benefit programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, solving problems, and delivering a stellar client experience.What You'll DoAct as the main liaison between clients, carriers, and internal teams for all benefit-related mattersManage a variety of group benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefitsCoordinate and execute the renewal process: collect quotes, create proposals, and present strategic recommendationsLead open enrollment planning, employee education sessions, and onboarding supportTroubleshoot billing, eligibility, claims, and enrollment issues with carriers and vendorsEnsure accurate and timely delivery of all client materials, including compliance notices and plan documentsKeep up-to-date with regulatory requirements (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) and advise clients accordinglyMaintain detailed records in the agency management systemSupport Producers in developing benefit strategies for prospective clientsWork collaboratively with Account Executives, Producers, and Compliance SpecialistsWhat You Bring2-4 years of experience in group benefits, insurance, or HR benefits administrationDeep understanding of group benefits products, quoting practices, and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with underwriting, renewal cycles, and benefits documentationStrong communication and relationship management skillsHigh attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilityProficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of agency management systems (such as Applied Epic) a plusLife & Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field preferredWhat Success Looks LikeClients view you as a trusted advisor and consistently rely on your expertiseYou proactively anticipate client needs and resolve issues before they ariseYou make insurance concepts easy to understand and actionable for clientsYour organizational and time-management skills allow you to juggle multiple priorities smoothlyWhy Join GTM Insurance Agency?At GTM, we prioritize integrity, responsiveness, and long-term partnerships.
