Summer Intern - ADL New York/New Jersey Regional Operations

ADL's New York/New Jersey's Regional Operations team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 15 to August 7, 2026 . The ideal candidate will have experience with a dynamic and fast-paced office environment and working collaboratively with a team. Our New York/ New Jersey Regional Operations internship provides the opportunity for a student to gain practical experience with incident response, hate crimes data, community partnerships, and legislation.

Application portals will close at 3 PM ET on March 10, 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

  • Assist Regional Operations team in identifying local and state level legislation for ADL to support and prioritize and assist with meeting and outreach preparation.
  • Assist with outreach to community partners, including law enforcement and university partners; collaborate with events, including assisting with logistics, outreach and program facilitation.
  • Assist with social media strategy and creating graphics.
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will learn from accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL.

Requirements

Compensation And Hours

  • This internship is paid $17.00 per hour in New York City.
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.

Location

  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required in New York City, New York.

What will you do during this internship?

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with incident response, hate crimes data, community partnerships, and legislation.
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
