Finance and Ops Lead

About the Role
From Lucie is looking for a Finance and Ops Lead to manage the financial and operational backbone of our three businesses: From Lucie (East Village), Sunday to Sunday (LES), and our commissary kitchen, Le Petit Atelier (South Williamsburg).

You will work directly with the owners, Lucie and Gurpreet, to professionalize our systems and use data to drive profitability across the group. This is an in-person, 5-day-a-week role requiring travel between our Manhattan and Brooklyn locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage QuickBooks for all three entities and oversee accounts payable via Margin Edge.

• Run weekly payroll and use data from our POS and reservation systems to track and report on payroll percentages and COGS.

• Handle HR administration, including sending offer packages, setting up new hires in our payroll system, and ensuring all staff have completed mandatory sexual harassment training.

• Assist managers with the hiring process and manage onboarding from start to finish.

• Count and track cash payments from retail stores and assist with inter-store logistics and delivery coordination.

• Create and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help automate business processes and support growth.

• Use Excel and Google Sheets to provide ownership with actionable financial reports.

Requirements

• Professional experience in finance, hospitality operations, or business administration.

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Margin Edge, and Excel/Google Sheets.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions regarding labor and COGS.

• Ability to take direction well while working independently across multiple sites.

• Must have valid work authorization for the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

• $30.00 per hour during a 90 day probationary period.

• $65,000 annual salary upon successful completion of the trial period.
