Network Security Engineer POST NUMBER: 484950
- Design, develop, program, and commission OT equipment commonly found in industrial control systems.
- Design and maintain OT network architectures.
- Implement OT cybersecurity best practices and standards.
- Lead automation and controls projects from concept through implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
- Create and maintain network architecture diagrams.
- Design and configure VLANs and firewall rules to properly segment and connect OT and IT networks.
- Configure switches, firewalls, and servers on site once electricians have pulled and terminated wiring.
- Test and validate communications between OT and IT networks.
- Ensure builds follow EPA/cybersecurity standards within budget and timeline constraints.

- Network Architecture Diagram Generation
- EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA, Profinet, MQTT
- Strong general IT networking background: network architecture/diagram creation, firewall configuration, VLAN setup and segmentation.
- Comfortable with managed switches, servers, and firewalls.
- Cisco, Fortinet, or similar platform
- 4 year college degree in any related field
- 3-5 years experience
- OT Cybersecurity Certification
- Office, industrial facilities, and field environments
- 10-40% travel may be required
