Role Overview

The AI Developer Enablement Lead will own the end-to-end enablement strategy of “AI for Tech," helping teams adopt and operationalize AI development tools across the SDLC. You will work closely with engineering leaders and delivery teams as a senior, hands-on role, enabling developers through practical training, clear guardrails, and a lightweight playbook that helps teams move fast.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 10+ years of software development experience. Preferably in financial services

  • Demonstrated ability to teach and influence across teams

  • Practical experience applying AI tools to software development especially beyond coding - testing, monitoring, etc.

  • Strong written communication

  • Experience with CICD and DevOps tools

  • Forward thinker who can filter the noise to find what is useful and applicable

  • Familiar with enterprise governance of AI systems

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 150,000.00 - $ 240,000.00
