OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Yonkers, NY by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work with HMD Trucking from Yonkers, NY running OTR dry van freight nationwide in a driver-focused operation that prioritizes safety and on-time performance.

Primary responsibilities:

• Drive long-haul routes with weekly averages near 2,500 miles while complying with hours-of-service and ELD protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and complete accurate delivery and log documentation.
• Leverage company maintenance support for reliable uptime and communicate with dispatch on routing and ETA.

You’ll be assigned late-model tractors (under 3 years) featuring sleepers, APUs and inverters. Pay begins at 65 CPM. CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience required; bonuses, regular home time and full benefits provided.
