We are currently hiring for daytime, evening and weekend shifts to join our passionate hospitality team. Weekend availability is a must. About the Role

We are seeking a classically skilled bartender with genuine passion for hospitality, beverage craft, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The ideal candidate brings deep French wine knowledge, a strong understanding of classic cocktails, and the professionalism to thrive in a respected NYC neighborhood establishment. A+ references from well-regarded restaurants are a must.

What Makes a Strong Candidate

• Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in a comparable NYC concept (French, neighborhood tavern, or cocktail-focused bar)
• Stable work history, 6–12+ months per role, showing commitment and reliability
• Extensive knowledge of French wine programs
• Proven experience with classic cocktail preparation and high-volume bar service
• Experience at a prestigious or well-known NYC restaurant or major city equivalent
• History of added responsibility: beverage program involvement, inventory, ordering, or event service
• Clean, professional presentation and strong references

Responsibilities

• Craft cocktails, pour wine, and serve beer with precision, consistency, and enthusiasm
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Engage every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
• Communicate clearly with floor staff, kitchen, and management
• Handle opening and/or closing duties including inventory and restocking
• Ensure bar area meets all health and safety standards at all times

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of French wine, spirits, and classic cocktails
• High-volume bartending capability without sacrificing quality or guest experience
• Strong customer service and ability to create a convivial atmosphere
• Knowledge of locally sourced and seasonal ingredients
• Flexibility in scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and strong time management
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously for extended periods

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $17.00 + tips
