Radiology Job Details

• Location: Rochester, MI 48307 (Detroit metro area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based Imaging Support Services
• Start Date: August 24, 2025
• End Date: November 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3pm – 11pm, 8-hour evening shifts, every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250-$2310

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of hire)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficient in ER, OR, and portable imaging procedures
• Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and customer service

Radiology Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians under the supervision of a Radiologist
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures clearly
• Review clinical data and obtain relevant patient history
• Set up and operate radiology equipment; analyze anatomical structures for accurate imaging
• Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Follow strict radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and radiology information systems (PACS/RIS)
• Assist in training and mentoring new hires and radiology students
• Demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and a commitment to diversity and patient-centered healthcare
