Legal Administrative Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal administrative assistant to contribute to complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment. You will provide essential support to attorneys during all phases of litigation. This position involves cases in Federal and State Court. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of prior legal assistant experience and is able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines while working with different team members.

This position is remote, if desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of pleadings, motions, declarations, and discovery for filing or service
• Maintain calendars and deadlines
• Filing documents in State and Federal Court
• Liaison with courts, opposing counsel, and third party vendors
• Organize and manage case files, exhibits, and evidence
• Maintain production charts
• Collect, analyze, and organize documents for discovery
• Assist with trial preparation and trial notebook/documents
• Provide administrative support as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in litigation support
• Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in case management software
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Reliable and strong understanding of our duties of confidentiality and loyalty to our clients
