Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters with significant autonomy and responsibility
• Serve as primary client contact, building and maintaining strong attorney-client relationships
• Interface directly with opposing counsel to negotiate, strategize, and advance case objectives
• Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings, hearings, and depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with precision and persuasive legal analysis
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies for high-stakes commercial disputes
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates within the Commercial Litigation practice group

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited top 50 law school
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
• 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience at an AmLaw 200 law firm
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Outstanding academic credentials and law school performance
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
• Strong oral advocacy and communication skills
• Proven track record of professional responsibility and client service excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal or state judicial clerkship experience
• Experience with diverse commercial litigation matters including breach of contract, business torts, and corporate disputes
