Position Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer

Location: Bronx, NY

Job Type: Contract

Shift: Mid-Day

Hourly Pay: $65–$68/hr

Weekly Pay: $2,400.00 – $2,620.00/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging.

• Maintain accurate patient and exam documentation within the imaging system.

• Follow radiation safety measures to protect patients, self, and staff.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate exam results.

• Maintain and clean radiographic equipment; report malfunctions promptly.

• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control practices, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program (including military training accepted).

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of general radiography experience required.

• Licensure/Certification:

  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

  • Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License

  • BLS certification preferred

• Skills: Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills; ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
