DOB Licensed Site Safety Coordinator (Spanish Speaking)

Title: DOB Licensed Site Safety Coordinator Location: Jamaica, Queens, NY Work Details: Full-time, Day shift Must be bilingual with English/Spanish speaking ability Role And Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee site-specific safety plans in compliance with NYC DOB regulations.
- Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are clearly communicated and followed by all personnel on-site.
- Conduct and document daily safety inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Immediately address and correct unsafe conditions or practices.
- Maintain all required DOB documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate and communicate with DOB inspectors and ensure site is always inspection-ready.
- Conduct safety orientation for all new workers and ensure appropriate certifications (e.g., OSHA, SST cards) are on file.
- Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator License
- Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Working knowledge of construction safety standards, OSHA regulations, and all state and local regulations.
- Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must have Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (S-56) license
