: Nursing Supervisor Non Exempt, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Nursing Supervisor Non Exempt to join our Nursing Admin 03 department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. This is a Per Diem position. Shift: Rotational Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $33.57 - $51.39 per hour, depending on experience. Nursing Supervisor Non Exempt / Overview Provides supervision of nursing, technical and/or support staff and coordinates daily operations, 24 hours a day. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager and other department supervisors, implements departmental and hospital policies and procedures, maintains standards of care and nursing practice, and monitors and improves the quality of nursing services. Key Responsibilities and Expectations Education/Experience Minimum Required:

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Bachelors in Nursing or evidence of planned completion within two (2) years
• Three (3) years of clinical nursing experience

Preferred:

• Bachelors in Nursing
• Previous experience in relevant nursing practice setting
• Previous experience in a supervisory role

License/Certification Minimum Required:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• CPR within 3 months of hire
• Completion of professional certification in the relevant specialty practice as soon as eligible (generally after 2 years of experience in the specialty)

Preferred:

• Current professional certification in the relevant specialty

Work Environment

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
