What Your Role Will Do:
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with employers, industry organizations, and public agencies to source job openings and secure employment and vocational training for our program participants.
- Utilize various methods including networking, social media, job boards, referrals, and direct sourcing to find the best opportunities.
- Conduct thorough reviews of participant assessments to ensure alignment with business requirements, including skills, experience, career aspirations, and accommodation.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with industry professionals and key stakeholders to establish a strong talent pipeline.
- Keep updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market insights to provide strategic recommendations and insights to participants.
- Work closely with job developers to understand hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and provide regular updates on participant pipelines and market trends.
- Coordinate interviews between participants and business partners and facilitate the negotiation process to secure successful placements.
- Ensure a positive participant experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, to enhance employer branding and foster long-term relationships.
- Develop job leads by contacting employers in target industries, responding to job postings and ads, and conducting internet searches.
- Maintain communication with employers and report findings to the vocational team.
- Prepare reports and correspondence regarding job development and placement efforts.
- Develop marketing and promotional materials to advertise job placement services and activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License.
- Own transportation with proof of insurance, registration, and inspection sticker.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a headhunting or agency environment.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence participants and partners at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Understanding of industry-specific talent landscapes, market dynamics, and recruitment best practices.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and interactions.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- Efficiency with smartphones.
Work Location: Westbury, NY
Work Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $65,000/year

Paid Time Off:
- Up to 80 hours of vacation during the first calendar year of employment. Employees accrue an additional 8 vacation hours each subsequent calendar year, up to a maximum of 120 hours.
