Pay: $390,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year

Location: This is an on-site opportunity based in either New York, New York or Orange County, California, giving candidates the chance to join our team in two outstanding major legal markets.

Note: Must have 4+ years of lender-side real estate finance experience, strong mortgage loan document drafting and negotiation skills, and active CA or NY Bar admission in good standing

Job Description

• Represent lenders in complex real estate finance transactions, including construction, bridge, and permanent loans
• Draft, review, and negotiate mortgage loan documents and related transaction materials
• Conduct and manage real estate and entity due diligence in support of financing matters
• Work closely with clients and internal team members to move transactions efficiently from structuring through closing
• Take ownership of significant workstreams and help drive deals forward with strong attention to detail
• Support sophisticated commercial lending matters in a fast-paced, high-level practice
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues throughout the life of each transaction

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in real estate finance at a national or regional law firm
• Strong lender-side experience with construction, bridge, and permanent loans
• Experience drafting and negotiating mortgage loan documents
• Real estate and entity due diligence experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• Top academic credentials
• Active CA or NY Bar admission in good standing
