Lapine Fitness Studio (LFS) is opening a brand-new location on Long Island and entering an exciting phase of expansion. We’re hiring a Facility leader to lead this new studio from day one and help build the foundation for future LFS locations.
This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for someone who wants to help open, build, and scale a gym - not just manage an existing one. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the team, culture, systems, and member experience as this location launches and grows.

The Opportunity
As Facility Leader of our Commack location, you will:
- Be part of the founding leadership team for a new studio
- Build and lead the coaching staff
- Own studio performance across sales, retention, and experience
- Work directly with ownership to refine systems that scale across locations
- Play a long-term role in a growing fitness brand with clear expansion plans
Core Responsibilities
Coaching (Approx. 15–20 sessions/week)
- Deliver high-quality small group personal training sessions consistent with LFS training principles.
Team Management & Development
- Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with each coach to review performance, identify growth areas, and align on goals.
- Host weekly team meetings to review key updates, celebrate wins, and ensure alignment across the coaching staff.
- Perform weekly session audits to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to LFS standards.
- Be a culture carrier - model professionalism, care, and leadership in every interaction.
- Continue to develop as a coach through professional development opportunities, workshops, and mentorship.
- Oversee and evolve all training programming, ensuring it remains progressive, effective, and aligned with our training philosophy
Leadership & Strategy
- Attend and contribute to weekly “level 10” meetings - reviewing KPIS, quarterly projects, weekly todos, issues and opportunities
- Strengthen community engagement, support member retention, uphold high-quality sessions, and foster a strong team culture.
- Ownership of KPIs, develop and execute quarterly projects and studio growth initiatives.
- Maintain accountability for studio cleanliness, organization, and operational standards.
- Maintain alignment between LFS’s mission, core values, and operational execution.
Sales & Marketing
- Follow up with new leads daily to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Conduct sales calls with prospective members and ensure a smooth transition into the onboarding process.
- Track and report lead metrics, conversion rates, and member onboarding outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership on studio promotions, events, and community partnerships to support lead flow.
Hiring
- Support the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new coaches and front-line staff.
- Lead onboarding and training systems to ensure smooth integration into LFS culture and operations.
- Identify internal growth and leadership opportunities for team members.
- Maintain an updated talent pipeline and proactively seek high-quality candidates to support growth.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews to assess development, contribution, and cultural alignment
Financial Oversight
- Monitor key financial metrics including:
- Monthly revenue, expenses, and profit margins
- Payroll percentages and coach utilization
- Sales performance and member churn
- Review monthly P&L reports with ownership, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure efficient staff scheduling to balance service coverage and labor costs.
- Support planning and execution of annual budget, quarterly financial reviews, and
- cost-saving initiatives.

Position Details
- Location: Commack, NY
- Hours: Full-time, in-person
- Compensation: $60,000–$90,000 annually
