Hospitality Manager

Perched atop a gentle rise overlooking Wölffer Estate’s storied vineyards—including our historic Merlot field planted in 1990—the Wine Stand is one of the East End’s most beloved destinations. Known for golden sunsets, live music drifting through the vines, and a relaxed yet elevated Hamptons vibe, the Wine Stand brings together exceptional wine, hospitality, and unforgettable summer experiences.
We are seeking a Seasonal Hospitality Manager to lead operations at this high-energy, guest-focused venue.
What You’ll Do
As the Wine Stand Hospitality Manager, you will oversee all daily operations while delivering a seamless, high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced, walk-in-only environment.
- Lead all aspects of daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences
- Create a warm, welcoming, and elevated atmosphere aligned with Wölffer’s hospitality standards
- Manage high-volume guest flow, ensuring efficiency while maintaining a relaxed, polished environment
- Handle guest concerns and special situations with professionalism and quick decision-making
- Recruit, train, schedule, and lead a high-performing seasonal team
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to align staff on volume, product updates, and events
- Oversee opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, setup, and restocking
- Manage inventory of wine, cider, and merchandise with accuracy
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Enforce Wine Stand policies, including outside food/beverage and ADA guidelines
- Coordinate with vendors (valet, security) and internal teams (events, marketing, production)
- Maintain clear communication with Hospitality leadership
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hospitality management experience (high-volume environment strongly preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent communication and guest service instincts
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and problem-solve under pressure
- Experience improving workflow, efficiency, and team performance
- Comfortable troubleshooting operational challenges in real time
- Passion for hospitality, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences

Schedule
