Job Title: Business Analyst (CBAP certified)

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualification:

• Proven experience in gathering and analyzing stakeholder business needs using various techniques, and translating those needs into validated and verified functional and non-functional requirements. This includes eliciting business rules, reporting needs, system behaviors, and performance expectations.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining a wide range of software development artifacts to clearly communicate requirements. Artifacts include business cases, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), use cases, report mockups, wireframes, flowcharts, context diagrams, swimlane diagrams, UI specifications, and non-functional requirement documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirements workshops, such as Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and structured walkthroughs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and consensus.
• Hands-on experience managing requirements across the entire requirements lifecycle. This includes drafting and executing requirements management plans, developing requirements traceability matrices, establishing baselines, and overseeing change control processes.
• Experience in creating test plans and test cases, as well as supporting and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users.
• Holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Intelligence, Information Science, Criminal Justice, Health Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Public/Business Administration.
• Certified CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
