Job Title: Recovery Representative I
Job Type: Contract (1st Shift) ONSITE
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Duration: 7+ months contract
Location: Rochester, NY 14623
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
Work Model: Onsite

Position Summary:-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Recovery Representative I (Tier II) to support financial operations and collections-related processes. The role is responsible for handling returned payments, resolving account issues, and ensuring timely and accurate recovery of outstanding items while maintaining high-quality customer service and compliance standards.
This position requires strong communication skills, analytical ability, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:-
Process and resolve bank returned items accurately and in a timely manner
Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external clients
Research and resolve product and service-related issues
Handle client inquiries and objections with guidance from mentors or supervisors
Maintain daily processing of returned items for assigned accounts
Monitor and update EDI payment reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
Review payroll hold reports and ensure timely resolution to prevent service disruptions
Meet daily call and productivity targets as assigned
Evaluate client account status and determine appropriate service actions
Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (FDCPA, NACHA, etc.)
Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge

Required Qualifications:-
High School Diploma required
Associate Degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
Minimum experience in customer service, finance, accounting, payroll, or collections
Call center experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
