Location : Melville, NY (REMOTE)
Compensation : $150,000 - $160,000k + bonus + excellent benefits
Summary:
Our client, a nationally recognized Top 50 P&C Broker has a need for a Insurance Commercial Marketing/Placement Specialist to join their team. The Commercial Insurance Marketing Placement Leader is responsible for overseeing the placement and marketing strategy for middle market commercial accounts. This role serves as a senior technical insurance resource, partnering closely with producers, account executives, account managers, and carrier underwriters to secure competitive insurance solutions for clients. The individual will lead carrier marketing efforts, negotiate coverage and pricing, develop market relationships, and provide guidance to marketing and service team members.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the marketing and placement strategy for new business, renewal business, and complex commercial accounts.
- Evaluate client exposures and insurance program structures to develop effective placement strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and underwriting partners.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the agency and insurance markets.
- Conduct regular carrier meetings to review performance, appetite changes, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze policy forms, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage gaps.
- Support internal teams with complex coverage interpretation and placement challenges.
- Stay informed regarding industry developments, underwriting trends, emerging risks, and market conditions.
- Direct the submission process, including reviewing applications, loss information, exposure data, and supporting underwriting documentation.
- Identify and approach appropriate insurance carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, and specialty markets based on client needs.
- Negotiate pricing, coverage enhancements, terms, conditions, and service commitments with carrier partners.
- Present coverage recommendations and placement options to internal stakeholders and client-facing teams.
- Ensure placements align with client objectives, risk tolerance, and budget considerations.
Qualifications:
- Property & Casualty, Commercial Lines licensed.
- Strong knowledge in commercial lines servicing experience including remarketing and new business placement.
- 8+ years of commercial property & casualty insurance experience.
- 5+ years of commercial insurance marketing, placement, brokerage, underwriting, or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and carrier markets.
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
