Duties Description Chief Technology Office / Shared Platform Services / Containers as a Service, the Information Technology Specialist 3, SG-23, will be providing related services on the Google Cloud Platform.Specific duties include, but are not limited to;- Work with Cloud development teams to support their current and future needs in our containerized environment;- Troubleshooting issues of connectivity, load balancing, scaling, and monitoring;- Work with containerized workloads in a cloud hosting environment such as AWS, Azure, and GCP;- Provide administration, maintenance, and support of Google Kubernetes engine;- Assist clients and stakeholders with issues on the Google Cloud Platform; and- Document work in work logs, Supervise SG-18 Employees.

Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive services as an Information Technology Specialist 3 (Systems Programming) OR in a position at G-21 or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades.Note: If you are on the examination eligible list for the position title in this location, you do not need to respond to this posting unless you are also eligible for appointment by one of the qualifications listed above. Candidates must be reachable on the current eligible list for this title in order to be list appointed.
