Barback
Salary: $15.00 per hours + tips.
Fouquet’s New York is hiring a highly skilled and experienced seasonal barback with a passion for hospitality to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in beverage with extensive experience in a similar upscale establishment, and a strong ability to deliver excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Ensure the current health and safety regulations (clothing, personal hygiene) are followed
- Provide high-quality bar service
- Ensure the equipment is used as intended to make sure it lasts
- Prepare juices, mixers and garnishes.
- Ensure bartender is set-up for success
- Monitor and replenish supplies as needed
- Wash and stock glasses, tools and equipment
- Breaking the bar down; cleaning counter, tables, dishes, glasses, mixing tools, service equipment, etc.
- Store the various items and/or goods according to the applicable organization guidelines
- Ensure the working area is kept clean (glassware, presentation bottles, furniture, etc.)
- Take delivery of products and store them (drinks, consumables, etc.)
- Guarantee customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous barback experience
- The ability to work quickly and provide exceptional guest service
- A friendly, outgoing personality, with a genuine desire to provide warm hospitality to guests
- TIPS certification
