Marketing / Public Relations Coordinator

About the Role

East West Cuisine Hospitality is a multi-concept restaurant group spanning three distinct dining experiences — hed NYC, hed 11, and hed Very Thai SF. We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to own brand presence, content, and public relations across all three restaurants, ensuring each concept's unique identity is represented with consistency, polish, and momentum.

This role covers the full scope of restaurant marketing — from day-to-day social content to media relations and press strategy — for a growing, critically recognized hospitality group.

Social Media & Content

• Own social media strategy, content calendars, and daily posting across all three restaurant accounts
• Plan and execute photo/video shoots for menu launches, seasonal changes, and events
• Write captions, stories, and social copy that reflect each concept's distinct voice
• Track engagement and performance, adjusting strategy based on results

Public Relations

• Manage media relations and press outreach across all three concepts
• Build and maintain relationships with local and national food press, journalists, and influencers
• Draft and distribute press releases for openings, menu launches, chef announcements, and milestones
• Coordinate press visits, media dinners, and interview requests
• Track press coverage and maintain media contact lists

Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Develop quarterly marketing plans for each restaurant, aligned with seasonal menus and business goals
• Plan and promote special events, private dining pushes, holiday programming, and collaborations
• Coordinate marketing support for new location openings and expansion projects
• Manage marketing budget and vendor relationships (photographers, PR partners, agencies)

Brand & Collateral

• Maintain brand consistency across all three concepts' visual identity, tone, and messaging
• Design or coordinate design of marketing collateral — menus, postcards, signage, email campaigns
• Support email marketing and guest communications (newsletters, promotions, event invites)

Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with Corporate Chef, Executive Chefs, and General Managers on menu launch storytelling
• Support private dining and events team with marketing materials for corporate and group bookings
• Represent the brand at industry events, tastings, and community partnerships

• 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in restaurants, hospitality, or a related field
• Proven experience with social media management and content creation
• PR experience — media relations, press release writing, and pitch development
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt voice across multiple distinct brands
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and locations simultaneously
• Photography/videography skills or strong creative eye a plus
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and proactive
• Passion for food, hospitality, and storytelling
