Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (varies between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Experience: 2+ years current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion License: Must hold New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate Certifications: Chemo Cert, Oncology Certified RN (OCN), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Peripheral IV insertion experience - Port/fistula/catheter experience - IV certification (highly preferred) Description: COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required. Effective immediately, inclusion of New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is required with all nursing submissions. This license is required by the state of New York for staffing temporary needs. Questions regarding this requirement can be found on the state's health department website. Failure to upload this license will result in non-consideration for the position. All new and returning agency staff must have completed de-escalation training as part of their onboarding process. Training can be completed through approved organizations. EPIC experience is mandatory; please highlight this in your submission to avoid delays. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off submitted after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted, with fewer being preferable. Infusion services provided include IV antibiotics, IV antifungals, IV steroids, and blood transfusions. Care provided also includes placing and maintaining central venous access devices, administering specialty medications, and educating patients for self-administration of medications. Dress code requires personal scrubs of any color, with no designs or cartoons, and no hoodies. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Permanent address must be provided in the profile and must match the driver's license/state ID. Candidates from certain counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments.
