Automotive Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform multi point vehicle inspections using Digital Vehicle Inspection platforms.
• Perform general vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery changes, fluid level checks, and the like.
• Identify, diagnose, and fix vehicle issues efficiently, getting it right the first time.
• Perform repairs in the order set by the Service Advisor in accordance with the shop's Workflow System.
• Communicate effectively with team members and assist other technicians as needed.
• Follow all safety norms (wear ppe, clean bay, etc) and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic or similar role
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment including your own set of basic tools
• Be a team player with a great attitude.
• Must have a New York State Inspectors License or be willing to obtain one
