Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a residential location, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. In this people-first role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate with residents and guests, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or amenity areas in accordance with location protocols, reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and other security-related concerns.
- Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and following post orders for after-hours activity, deliveries, and/or contractor access.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
