The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Specific duties include but are not limited to: • Manage and update the request AI tracker.• Maintain custom AI SharePoint site to keep data current and relevant.• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and technologies.• Facilitate communication between program areas and AI review teams to ensure timely completion of reviews and accurate documentation.• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and other IT professionals to ensure proper implementation of AI models.• Laise with various program areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of data science solutions.• Contribute to and participate in state-level AI Piolet programs.• Identify opportunities to leverage AI technology to enhance business processes.• Record and maintain proper documentation on AI processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials.• Adhere to DOH and ITS policies, technical standards and security protocols.

The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be a matriculated undergraduate or graduate college student. Documentation of matriculation and enrollment in the Fall 2026 semester must be submitted with your resume.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Strong interest in AI.• Previous coursework or projects related to AI or natural language processing.• Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication skills.• Ability to analyze and communicate business needs.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Ability to problem solve effectively• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) and other computer programs as needed

Salary determined by academic level. 20 hours per week during the academic year is required, schedule is flexible. Must maintain matriculated student status to retain employment.Telecommuting is permissible up to 50% of working hours based on operational needs and at the discretion of the assigned Program area.
