Sr Art Director, Digital Display

Our client, a leader in tech and communications is looking for a Senior Art Director to elevate and craft digital display scopes that engage customers and align to advertising guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• This role is focused on bringing the brand to life across a variety of formats and placements within digital advertising.
• You’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and marketers to concept and deliver digital display creative that resonates with consumers and drives results.
• From ideation to production and delivery, you’ll be hands-on at every stage, ensuring creative is not only visually engaging but also strategically aligned with campaign goals and media requirements.
• Concept and design custom and standard display ads for various campaigns, with a focus on performance, storytelling, and platform best practices
• Partner with copywriters to develop impactful, scroll-stopping display creative that is both brand-forward and conversion-minded
• Translate business and marketing goals into clear creative strategies across display formats, ensuring creative integrity across multiple screen sizes and ad environments
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and studio production teams to bring concepts to life across a wide range of specs and platforms
• Maintain and contribute to design systems and asset libraries related to digital display, including templates, reusable components, and documentation
• Ensure adherence to platform-specific technical specs, file size requirements, safety zones, and responsive design needs across all creative

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of experience in digital design, with a strong focus on display advertising (both standard units like banners and MPUs, and custom high-impact formats)
• A portfolio that showcases strong conceptual thinking and excellent visual execution, with a clear emphasis on digital display work
• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including experience working with shared libraries, components, and asset handoff
• Solid understanding of digital production workflows and media specifications, including ad server requirements and responsive/resizing best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including copywriters, producers, developers, and media partners.
• Familiarity with motion, animation, or rich media formats is a plus
