Job Title: Medical Assistant (Korean Speaking)

Location: Flushing, NY 11355

Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break)

Pay Rate: $23/hr

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a bilingual Korean-speaking Medical Assistant to support a busy outpatient Urology practice in the Flushing, NY area. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient intake, including vital signs, height, and weight measurements.

• Assist physicians during exams, minor procedures, and treatments.

• Collect, label, and process laboratory specimens accurately.

• Update and maintain patient records in EMR systems (Epic or Athena).

• Ensure patient comfort, confidentiality, and safety throughout visits.

• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and medical equipment.

• Provide assistance with front and back-office duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Fluency in Korean (spoken and written) required.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.

• Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

• Experience in outpatient or family practice settings strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with Epic or Athena EMR systems is a plus.
