Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY(Remote). Candidate must have advanced expertise in architecting and developing Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, CPQ, and custom applications.

Rate Range: $110/hour to $111/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Leading the architecture and design of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, CPQ, and custom applications.

• Guiding development teams by providing technical leadership, best‑practice direction, and code quality oversight.

• Translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performance Salesforce technical designs.

• Overseeing integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs to ensure seamless system connectivity.

• Conducting code reviews, performance tuning, and enforcing development standards across the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Collaborating with cross‑functional partners such as product, QA, and DevOps to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.

• 10+ years of Salesforce development experience and 3+ years in an Architect or Lead Developer role.

• Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ with strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Apex, LWC, and REST API integrations.

• Ability to design scalable Salesforce architectures and provide technical leadership across development teams.

Pay Details: $110.00 to $111.00 per hour
