We are working on behalf of a well-established, seven-doctor veterinary hospital in the greater Rochester, NY area, that is looking to welcome a dedicated DVM to its growing team. This is a uniquely positioned practice, one of the only GP & urgent care providers in the Rochester area treating both companion animals and exotics, offering a genuinely varied and clinically stimulating caseload.

The hospital operates on an appointment-based model, meaning doctors are never required to stay beyond their scheduled shifts. Work-life balance is taken seriously here, with schedule flexibility built in from day one. You’ll be supported by an outstanding team with a 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, including 13 licensed technicians, 4 veterinary assistants, and 7 CSRs, giving you the infrastructure to practice excellent medicine with confidence.

About You

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
• Hold (or are eligible for) a veterinary license in the state of New York
• Passionate about urgent care is a plus, although a solely GP caseload is also available
• Comfortable working with a diverse caseload, including exotics as well as cats and dogs
• A strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Committed to professional growth and mentorship — whether you’re experienced or looking to develop new skills
