Location: 110 State Street, Albany, NY 12236

Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Rate: $55 per hour

Position Overview

The organization has recently implemented a modernized retirement benefit administration system using an Oracle PeopleSoft platform. We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to support and enhance this system in collaboration with the internal Application Development team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting PeopleSoft applications and related components to ensure system performance, stability, and compliance with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PeopleSoft applications and modules
• Design and execute technical solutions using PeopleSoft development tools
• Create and maintain technical design documentation and unit test scripts
• Perform SQL development and analysis within PeopleSoft data structures
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to implement system enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
• Support ongoing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements

Minimum Qualifications

• Four (4) or more years of application development experience in PeopleSoft, utilizing at least three of the following toolsets:
• XML
• PeopleSoft SQR
• PeopleTools
• PeopleCode
• PSQuery
• Data Mover
• Application Engine
• Component Interface
• Four (4) or more years of experience writing and optimizing SQL within PeopleSoft data structures
• Two (2) or more years of experience working with PeopleTools 8.57 or higher
• Two (2) or more years of experience developing technical design documentation and unit test scripts

Preferred Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience implementing or supporting an Oracle PeopleSoft solution
