Location: New York, NY 10029

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day)

Pay Rate: $45 – $51 per hour

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Dietitian – Contract for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient nutritional status using electronic medical records and interdisciplinary input

• Apply nutrition screening and assessment techniques to diverse patient populations

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans

• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with policy

• Provide nutrition counseling to patients and family members

• Assess and recommend enteral and parenteral nutrition support as appropriate

• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with care teams

• Assist with discharge planning related to nutrition care

• Precept dietetic interns and provide performance feedback

• Participate in community-focused nutrition education programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience , including completion of a dietetic internship

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

  • RD-eligible candidates must obtain credential within 3 months of hire

• New York State Dietitian licensure (required)

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

• High attention to detail, including accuracy in nutrient calculations and data analysis

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with inborn errors of metabolism and/or pediatric nutrition

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (required)
