Job Description
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to M&A deals.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Conduct due diligence and identify potential legal risks in transactions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices impacting M&A activities.
- Provide counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters related to transactions.
- Support senior attorneys in complex legal matters and strategic decision-making.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in New York or eligibility to practice law in New York.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating legal documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
