Senior software engineer

Ithaka Harbors, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY. Job duties include: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, fully accessible web applications in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. Leverage continuous deployment and test automation tools and implement end-to-end testing frameworks to enhance test coverage and reliability. Design, build, and maintain story-based test automation scripts for UI, database, and RESTful service validation, including developing automated test scripts to validate UI functionality and user flows. Enhance automation frameworks based on project needs, using knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) automation methodologies. Identify and document errors and inconsistencies in the functionality, usability, and performance of software. Must be willing to work remotely.Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least two years of professional experience working in front-end development within the software industry. Must have at least two years of experience creating reusable UI components and collaborating with UI/UX teams to translate wireframes into functional front-end code. Must have at least two years of experience designing and developing Use-Case Diagrams and Class Diagrams using Unified Modeling Language (UML) to define module interactions and architecture. Must have at least two years of experience conducting code reviews and providing guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures. Must have at least two years of experience conducting A/B split testing of different UI/UX components. Must be proficient in Agile, Angular, Bootstrap, JIRA, and NetBeans IDE.
