Dentist needed in Albany, NY
About the Position:
A full-time General Dentist is needed at a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Albany, New York. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of clinical experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care to underserved populations.
This FQHC’s dental department offers a full range of preventative, restorative, and emergency dental services, including:
Comprehensive exams and digital X-rays
Routine cleanings
Scaling and root planing for periodontal care
Fillings and extractions
Removable prosthodontics (partial and full dentures)
Crowns and root canal therapy
Night guards for bruxism
Same-day emergency dental treatment
The dental clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM , providing a stable and predictable schedule with no evening or weekend hours.
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual salary range: $110,000 – $160,000 (commensurate with experience)
Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plan, and continuing education support
Eligible for federal and state loan repayment programs through NHSC and similar initiatives
