Bartender
Bartender | Dravida | East Village
Pay: $11.35/hr + 20% Mandated Gratuity | Full-Time/Part-Time | Dinner Availability Required
Dravida, a new restaurant from Chef Aarthi Sampath, is opening soon in the East Village.
Dravida is a service-led, chef-driven restaurant focused on the Indian diaspora. The beverage program is built to support a guided dining experience, with an emphasis on precision, consistency, pacing, and hospitality.
We’re looking for experienced bartenders who are steady, organized, and comfortable working in a structured, detail-oriented restaurant environment. This is a role for someone with strong beverage knowledge, clean execution, and the ability to support both bar guests and dining room service without losing pace.
Bartenders are expected to follow drink build sheets precisely, maintain a clean and organized bar, communicate clearly with servers and management, and take ownership of the bar from setup through close.
Requirements:
• 2+ years NYC bartending experience, preferably in high-volume or upscale restaurants
• Must be ServSafe certified or NYC DOH Food Protection/Food Safety Manager certified
• Must be TIPS certified
• Strong beverage knowledge
• Ability to follow drink build sheets and execute consistently
• Strong organization, cleanliness, and bar setup/breakdown standards
• Experience with Toast POS or similar
• Strong communication with servers, management, and service teams
• Reliable, punctual, and team-first approach
• Dinner availability required, including weekends
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:
$11.35/hr + 20% mandated check gratuity
