Job Title: Travel RN – Med/Surg
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:30 PM) | 3x12s
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a large acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and recent experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer medications and IV therapies
- Provide wound care and post-operative care
- Monitor patients using telemetry systems
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital
- Recent clinical experience within the past year required
- Active New York State RN License
- AHA BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
