Doorman / Concierge

Location: Great Neck, Long Island (one block away from the Great Neck Long Island Railroad Train Station).
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Various shifts available, primarily 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Doorman/Concierge to join the staff of a quiet, well-maintained 40-unit condominium building in Great Neck, New York.

This is a jacket and tie position with a strong emphasis on providing excellent, personalized customer service to our residents. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their appearance and work, and understands the importance of being courteous, helpful, and attentive.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist residents with packages, luggage, groceries, and other items as needed
• Open and close doors for residents and guests
• Monitor the building entrance and maintain a welcoming, secure environment
• Receive and organize packages and deliveries
• Assist residents and visitors with general questions and requests
• Maintain a clean and orderly lobby and front entrance
• Communicate effectively with building management and other staff members
• Follow building procedures and provide attentive service throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Previous doorman, concierge, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to interact courteously and professionally with residents, guests, and vendors
• Must be comfortable working independently during assigned shifts
• Jacket and tie required
• Ability to work evening and/or overnight shifts
