O ur client, a global AmLaw 50 firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its elite Global Finance Practice Group . This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, market-shaping commercial real estate capital markets transactions alongside a seasoned team of finance professionals. This top-ranked practice offers national and cross-border exposure with a dynamic client base, making it a standout destination for attorneys looking to build deep experience in the global financial market.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing
• 4–7 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance , preferably in a large law firm setting
• Background working with sophisticated commercial real estate and mezzanine loans
• High proficiency in drafting and negotiating transactional documents
• Strong ability to independently manage transactions and contribute effectively as a key deal team member , including running aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills; sound business judgment; and attention to detail are essential

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in commercial real estate finance transactions , advising on real estate loans and mezzanine loans
• Run key aspects of transactions throughout the deal cycle, from due diligence through closing
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents
• Act as a key member of deal teams , coordinating transaction workflow to ensure timely and efficient closings
• Collaborate with attorneys across the global finance practice to handle loan origination , acquisition , and disposition ; securitization ; rating agency representation ; servicing ; workouts and restructuring ; and bankruptcy matters

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: $310,000-$420,000 , commensurate with experience and class year
