Overview
IEX is expanding into the options market and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our options products into areas such as Complex Orders, Single/Double-Sided Auctions, and Crossing Mechanisms. This role will be central to shaping the next phase of IEX Options.
What You’ll Do
- Product Strategy and Vision : Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for options products, aligned with the company's overall business objectives, including initiatives like complex orders, auctions, and crossing mechanisms.
- Market Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Product Development : Write clear, detailed functional and technical requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, regulation, and operations) to develop and launch new options products.
- Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Customer Focus : Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and translate them into product enhancements.
- Data Analysis : Leverage data and analytics to measure product performance, identify opportunities, and inform decision-making.
- Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a high-performing product team and act subject matter expert on options functionality across the organization
About You
- Hands-on product management experience designing or specifying Complex Orders, Auctions, and Crossing mechanisms in options, or designing systems that interact with these mechanisms.
- Deep knowledge of options market structure and related regulations.
- Experience working at an options exchange, broker-dealer/router, or market maker.
- Strong ability to partner with developers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Management experience, a plus.
- Broader cross-asset or industry exposure preferred.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $200,000 and $250,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
