About the Role
Sprout Brooklyn is seeking a Yoga Specialist to guide campers in movement, mindfulness, and playful focus . Through 30-minute daily sessions, you’ll help children build body awareness, balance, flexibility, and calm while connecting activities to Jewish values, Israel, and the Hebrew language .
This role blends creativity, movement, and social-emotional learning , giving campers tools to stretch their bodies and their minds.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily 30-minute yoga sessions for groups of 12–14 campers
- Design activities that combine movement, mindfulness, and age-appropriate challenges
- Integrate Jewish, Israeli, or Hebrew themes where it naturally fits
- Help campers explore breathing, focus, and cooperative movement games
- Collaborate with the Program Director to plan weekly lessons and backup activities
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Minimum 2 years teaching yoga to children ages 3–10
- Comfortable guiding mindful movement in playful, energetic ways
- Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic about camp life
- Experience with summer camp or group activities is a plus
- Hebrew fluency is a bonus, not required

Each week, specialists incorporate one or more of three camp themes: a Jewish value , an Israel spotlight , or a Hebrew language focus . Activities should be flexible for different ages , with projects that can be completed in a single 40-minute session.
Pay: $3,800.00 - $4,900.00 per year
